2008 Vendor Training Dates Posted
The training schedule has been updated to include January and February 2008. The new dates have been posted at http://www.idahoecommerce.com/training.htm. There is NO COST attend this event. Training is scheduled in Boise for November, however there will not be a training in December, 2007.
Pearl Smith, with the Idaho Division of Purchasing, will make a presentation entitled “Doing Business With the State of Idaho.” As part of the training I will also discuss the SicommNET e-procurement system used by the state since 2001. This is a hands on training using the the SicommNet system online. You must be registered with SicommNet to participate. If you have not regestired you can do so by going to http://idahoecommerce.com/idaho-businesses/.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR VENDOR TRAINING:
If you want to attend, complete the form at the bottom of this page: http://www.idahoecommerce.com/training.htm. You will receive an autoresponder confirmation of your reservation via email. The first email you’ll receive requires you to respond to verify that you actually completed the form. The next message will comfirm the date and place.
SEATING IS LIMITED to 24 people per session and we are taking reservations on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. (There are two sessions, and both sessions cover the same material.) The second half of the training deals with the SicommNET system and is is a hands on training, so you will need to bring your user name and password. Note: The morning and afternoon session include the same presentations, you only need to register for one of them.
